St. Ferdinand's Men's Club Scholarship

The St. Ferdinand's Men's Club will be awarding tuition assistance scholarships to Students for the academic year 2022-2023. The scholarships are awarded for one (1) year only. There are academic and service requirements for awarding the scholarships. Affiliation with the St. Ferdinand's Catholic Church is not required. Awards will be made on the basis of Academic excellence and personal qualifications.
 
Criteria

1. Must be in good standing with their most recent school.
2. Have acceptable class grades (maintain 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale) for the current academic year. (Note: Current school records are required)
3. Must submit the application and required documents by the deadline.
4. Must have been accepted by accredited college/university or Trade school.

1. Scholarship Application
2. A one page essay (typed or clearly written) which describes what community service means to you and how you hope to use what you learn to benefit your parish, the community which you live, your family and the country. Include a paragraph stating the reason or reasons you believe you are deserving of the scholarship.
3. Proof of Parish affiliation.
4. Letters of recommendation (minimum of two) from;

1. A current academic year teacher of the applicant on letterhead.
2. A parishioner of your parish, and/or another person who has worked with the applicant in an area of leadership, service, stewardship, or faith development.

5. A list of church, school, and/or community service/stewardship activities and brief explanation of the activity if it is necessary in your opinion.
6. An official transcript from the current and/or immediate past year, including grades, any disciplinary actions (e.g., in school or out of school suspension), and attendance.
7. An official acceptance letter copy from University/College or Trade school you will be attending.

Deadline:
Applications and required documents for the scholarships for the 2022-2023 academic year must be received by May 13th, 2022 .  No exceptions.
